Creating Memories & More with Stampin Up

18 March 2018

A while ago we were sent a lovely package from Stampin Up  to create our very own collage photo album with Christmas themed cards. In the package was a ring binder album, some wallet inserts, cards and pens.

What better weekend to pull everything together and create an album to treasure for years to come.  I started by trawling the house for old photographs of Christmas's gone by and of course not to forget some more recent photos.

I love the effects you can achieve with the help of the ready printed cards.  There are also translucent cards with decorations on to brighten up dull backgrounds.

Gee decided she would like to have a go to, picking the photos that mean a lot to her.  I can't believe how small she was on the top right photo.  Of course she was wearing her First Christmas bib, it played carols when you pressed it.

Sometimes having her birthday on New Year's Eve can be hectic but often it means that family are around to help us celebrate. Sadly Bert is no longer with us but Gee says she still remembers him dressing her as a princess for her 3rd birthday, a photo for her to hold close to her heart.

I aim to keep adding to the album every year and we thought it might be fun to buy some more cards and plastic inserts that could be used for holidays and days out.  Hopefully one day Gee and the boys will be able to look back on these memories and treasure them for years to come. The beauty of this album is the size, it can hold so many photos and I love the themes that you can create.

We were sent this pack free of charge for the purpose of this review but the opinion is our own.

  7. This is a lovely idea. Photograph albums seem to be a thing of the past. My mum has a lovely collection of old photos and not so old photos and the children love going through them, comparing how the different generations looked and how things like their clothes and lifestyles etc. have changed. So many memories!
