Happy Rainy Days Review

13 November 2015

Well the weather has certainly turned and I fear that we may have witnessed the last of the autumn sunshine, at least for the foreseeable future.  With this in mind I have been on the look out for a rain coat for work and by chance I was contacted by Happy Rainy Days to review one of their coats.

Happy Rainy Days was founded by two Dutch ladies who wanted to create stylish and trendy raincoats, which I think you will admit they achieved. They now own an international company which designs two new collections a year, selling their coats across Europe.  Their coat collections are fabulous, from vibrant colours to more practical colours for the office there is something for everyone’s differing taste.

I chose the Lucine Trenchcoat in Black with a hood, why a hood you ask? Because I am always forgetting to take my umbrella with me and you can guarantee every time I get out of the car it starts to rain, therefore having a hood is ideal for me when I am travelling with work. The Trenchcoat is windproof, water resistant and made from breathable fabric with a 100% cotton lining.  I must say that the finishing on my coat is second to none, the seams and button holes are finished perfectly and the detailing is pure quality.  As you can see from picture the lining on my coat is beautiful and adds that perfect bit of colour to a dull and dreary day.

With coats previously I have sometimes felt restricted whilst moving, I found the sizing to be quite generous on my trenchcoat, giving me the freedom to stretch and move around.  It really is the perfect coat for work or going to the shops and I wouldn't hesitate recommending them to my friends.  The coats are priced in euros on the website but I think they roughly cost around £100 which I think is good for a quality item.

I was sent this item for the purpose of this review but the opinion is my own.
