Pink Sofas - Redefining Interior Style

22 July 2015

What’s the first thing you think of when someone mentions the colour pink? Barbie? Chewing gum? Pencil erasers? Little girls’ favourite palette? Whatever your mind jumped to, it probably wasn’t living room sofas.

However, pink doesn’t have to be a ‘girly’ colour – in fact, when done right, pink can add the perfect chic vibe to any modern living room. Pink is the ideal statement colour, as its unexpected presence in interior design offers a unique reinterpretation of classic design and its versatility allows it to seamlessly fit into any space.

Assembled in this brief style guide are some examples of beautiful pink sofas, ranging from soft baby pink to deep magenta. Hopefully this will give you enough inspiration to incorporate the trend into your own home.

  1. I am never usually a fan of the colour pink. I think it stems from my insistence on being a tom-boy and therefore resolute opposition to anything considered girly as a child. But I am slowly warming to the colour and I must say some of these sofas are gorgeous! Though I imagine dusky pink is difficult to keep clean if you have a muddy dog around the house like I do. I think I'll be sticking to brown for the time being.

    1. I totally agree Eleanor and i don't think I could talk hubbie in to one either, but saying that I do rather like them x
