Valentine's Day on a Budget

Valentine's Day does not have to be expensive, there are lots of small touches you can make throughout the home to celebrate the most romantic day of the year and Home Bargains currently have some great ideas. What better way to feel more romantic and treat your loved ones for a small price.

For the Bedroom
Love heart lights - to adorn your headboard £1.99
Rose petals - to sprinkle on you the bed 79p
Boxed rose candle - for decoration 99p
Felt heart bunting - for decoration 99p
Red love photo frame - for your favourite photo £1.29

For Dining
Mini heart egg pan - ideal for breakfast on Valentine's Day 99p
Felt placemat set - for the romantic dinner 99p
Silicone Heart ice tray - for your celebrative tipple 99p
His & Hers crackers - to decorate the table 79p

With cuddly toys, heart balloons, bears in bags and lots of sweet treats there really is something for everyone. Even if you are single or a parent a lot of the items would brighten any child's day and make them feel special too.

I think my favourite item is the heart bunting and I intend to glamourise my To Do board for the month of February.  Needless to say Gee has taken a shine to the heart lights and I am sure they will be in her bedroom before mine.

I was sent a selection of items for the purpose of this post but the opinion is my own.
