Pom Pom Wow Review

Gee recently received the Pom Pom WOW Decoration Station from Maya Toys to try out and with her love for anything fluffy and glittery it was sure to be a hit. The set comes complete with instructions and all the below to create and beautify everyday items and most of all have fun:
  • Decoration station
  • 75 Pom Poms in various colours
  • 85 adhesive dots
  • 1 adhesive roll dispenser
  • 1 glitter glue pen
  • 2 markers
  • 1 paintbrush
  • 4 watercolours
  • 8 removable pom trays
  • 1 pipette
  • 1 removable water tray
  • 4 stamper pads
  • 1 blotting cloth

The Decoration Station was easy to put together by following the numbered instructions. First Gee tried the water colour station by putting 4 white pom poms in one of the Pom trays and sliding it into the stamper plunger, she then wet the water colours with a little water by using the pipette and pressed the plunger downwards to cover the ends of the pom poms with paint. You can repeat this but use the stamper pad instead for a different effect. You can create your own colours by using the paintbrush and water try to mix the paints and then draw it up into the pipette to colour your pom pom. We found it was best to leave them all to dry fully before you tried to fix them to items with the glue dots. The marker pens and glitter glue added another design to the pom poms.

The glue dots were easily dispensed from the dispenser and this helped Gee to decorate a phone case and plimsolls with pom poms, she would have gladly kept on creating them if we hadn’t have run out. I need to place an order for some more to enable her to jazz up some of her clothes as she has been trawling the internet looking for more ideas.  This set is such fabulous fun and the creative ideas are endless.

You can find more information and ideas about PomPomWOW on twitter, facebook and instagram. Pom Pom WOW are also taking over UKMums.tv from the 28th May.

You can find Pom Pom Wow in all large toyshops (The Entertainer, Toys R Us and Smyths) or online at www.character-online.com priced £29.99.

We were sent this item free of charge for the purpose of this review but the opinion is our own.

  2. This looks like so much fun. I'm way too impatient to make proper pom-poms, but I can imagine using these ones in so many different craft projects. x

Sadly not sure my boys would want to pom pom much but I know I'd have loved something like this as a kid.
