Miss You Stan #7/7

I can't believe it's been 10 years since you were cruelly taken away from us Stan, but in my mind I can still visualise your wicked sense of humour and banter. The way you used to peep over my workstation and ask if I fancied a bacon butty (you already knew the answer to this) and cheered us up with endless jokes. Sitting in meetings with you was never dull.

The morning of 7/7 you had stepped in to somebody else's shoes to attend a meeting in London because this was the kind of bloke you were, helpful and eager to please everyone and you never returned. Instead of being at work you were on the train at Edgeware Road when terrorists took your life. You left behind your gorgeous wife and children and a hole in the heart of everyone who knew you.

God bless you Stan and I will join you for a G & T again one day.
