Glass Half Empty or a Glass Half Full

It's been a funny year for me, I embarked on a new job which I am still trying to get my head round and also juggling childcare with the OH constantly being away (which I'm not really sure about either). We've had our ups and downs, more downs than ups and so it's with trepidation I look to the New Year. I really need to focus on being more optimistic and at the end of the day no matter what life throws at me, I know I will get through it, after all I have survived divorce, the loss of twins, my son being diagnosed with Perthes Disease and bringing up 3 boys on my own.

New Years Eve is my daughters birthday and this is what I celebrate today, nothing else. Grotbags is the person I work so hard for, for her I live and breathe.

So I am sat here, a glass of Tia Maria in my hand and a tear in my eye for memories of things I have lost, but I would like to wish anyone who reads my blog all the luck and my best wishes for 2014 and hopefully my glass can start becoming half full.

Posted on the go :)
