Sleep Problems

Since I had Grotbags 8 years ago I have suffered with sleeping problems, I often wake at least 3 times per night, sometimes because I need the toilet but mainly through an overactive mind and being unable to doze back off once I wake up. Over the years I have tried lots of remedies and ideas, such as:

• Decluttering my bedroom
• Having a relaxing environment
• Reading before I go to sleep
• Having a hot bath
• Keeping the bedroom cool

I find all these things help but I still often wake up for no specific reason and then lie awake thinking about silly, irrelevant things (like what I need to do in the morning).

Silentnight undertook a Sleep Study last year which showed that 75% of adults are not getting a good night’s sleep and they are now working on a survey to find out if sleeping accessories help. I agreed to take part in this study and received a Neals Yard which smells absolutely divine as my sleeping aid.

So for the last week I have tried to undertake a calming bedtime ritual to see if this helps. After bathing I have applied the Beauty Sleep Concentrate which is luxurious and lightweight and easily absorbed into my skin. The cream has been scientifically formulated to support your skin’s natural night time regeneration, while reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

“Proven in clinical trials to increase skin's moisture levels by up to 98% over 12 hours.”

The cream is infused with naturally regenerative narcissus tazetta bulb extract, a smoothing tri-peptide and antioxidant-rich nourishing grape seed oil with a blend of aromatherapy essential oils renowned for their calming, relaxing properties.

I have to admit that I have slept better only waking up once per night instead of several times and whether this is down to the gorgeous aromatherapy effects of the cream or through severe exhaustion I am not sure, but I intend to carry on using this cream for the added benefit of gorgeous skin.
